Max level weapon help?

Hi

I'm still a relative noob to some aspects of this game, one of them being what's the best option when I max out a weapon?

I've got a few decent purple guns I've maxed out, I love using them but now the weapons are maxed out I no longer receive weapon xp if I use them.

So what's best to do with them? I don't really want to part with them but they feel somewhat useless now!

What should I do with them?

Any advice would be great!

What i do is, have one good stat one (for pvp and other situations where i dont care about exp)
and another that i use for exp and once its full sell/break down and get new one

It depends on what you need you can sell it or break it down for salvage. Once you max a weapon it just takes up slots in your inventory. Am at level 15 with AR and I have scraped lots of weapons I liked. Look around tho coz most of the time you can get the same weapon back
