Majority of the time, by altering client side values to increase their weapon damage.

If you are reffering to the little timed glowing egg things, shotgun for me. One shotgun usually just demolishes them.
--EDIT: If you are reffering to the Blastpods, chances are they aren't. Could be a lag, that is usually what happens with me when they just instantly die. But the guy above me could have a valid answer to, could be someone using a modded*hacked* damage value.

How many people where at the Ark Fall? Using a Sawn-off I can one-shot them if there are only 2-3 people at the arkfall at that moment.
