No it isn't excuse but it does cover them to a certain extent. All MMO's by their nature evolve and change not only in terms of content but from reviewing the data they got back about what players are doing (and not doing.)

I'd like to know how this game is "simple". You ever written a MMO Third Person Shooter on 3 Platforms before?

What's wrong with excuses? They are meant to change your opinion and confer understanding.

    Right for example :

DEFIANCE has some bugs but it has lots for players to do if they are having a problem that requires a major patch to fix. Now this game is also not meant to be played to death 24/7. Getting to EGO 5000 for example or earning 1000 Kills during an arkfall is designed to be completed over time and not grinded but thats the players choice. An MMO like this never stops evolving but it is for the benefit of player, you have to cut some slack as its the nature of the best. I am more then impressed that this title actually was playable from day one of release. Ask any SW TOR player who had to queue for 2 hours to get a game on launch!

However take a game like Sim City. It's classed as an MMO and uses an always online service model YET we all knew it wouldn't work day 1. We knew the servers would be to busy and leave many unable to play, we knew EA couldn't be trusted to release a working game on day 1 BUT what did the gaming community do rather then wait a week or 2 more to let it all settle down? Rushed out to give EA squilions of pounds and *****ed about it.

EA is at fault for knowingly releasing a game they couldn't support on day 1 and the consumer is at fault for throwing money over in blind faith.

So yeah quit the nonsense not everything in this world that looks hard really is especially if you do programming and know how to write codes, its borderlands on a bigger map! keep that comment to your self!

...and in that post alone you confirm you know absolutely nothing about programming, the game industry or life in general.

WOW you confirm it again with this nugget of pure gold. I'm just off to freshen up on my "grand scale" programming course, that'll teach my employee, I'll demand more money because I can now polish off!!!

dude stay in school and learn, these games may seem like they take time to make but really coding and re-coding and checking to make sure everything is in its right place not that hard. Im pretty sure you could do it! matter of fact just pick up a book on how to write code that will get you started.
