Its really only good for weapons with large magazine sizes since it is a %. Also, I burn through pistol ammo so fast that I wouldn't want to have two equipped unless one of them was a flare gun with a magazine mod (it would allow for more time to build the ammo up.)

I hate the flare gun. I would rather shoot standard bullets. I was hoping though that the preparedness perk would allow me to continually have pistol ammo, but alas, I was wrong. I guess I am going to have to equip a smg in my secondary slot then to get that operative feel.

Since I typically only join arkfalls that just started, I can't imagine the last time I came some other place other than first, probably the time I used Cluster Grenades. It's all about knowing what to do, and what weapons to use.

Ground Pounder for Monarchs/Warriors and FRC Saw for everything else. And My build is a pure tank/medic class with decoy, no offensive powers.

how do yall do in the arkfalls
Seems to be more oriented on how soon you got started on the arkfall(s). That and how much effort you actually put into it. I've gotten first place a few times with an SMG and a Shotgun using Cloak. Don't ask me how.

I usually stop and put a few shots in, kill a few guys and move on because there's no point in sticking around the payoff doesn't justify the time spent. But just taking a few pot shots and moving on, I still get rewards and don't need to sink a bunch of time to get not that much better rewards.
