i think it would have no effect, that's just my guess.. never felt like wasting the mod to be honest.

its like the nano effects, when you have incendiary on a weapon and add syphon aswell you end up with a syphon only weapon.

I have an lmg,ar and semi ar with the controlled burst mod on. The Lmg is a beas and the lmg and ar fire 3 round on trigger tap and full auto on trigger hold. The semi fires an incredibly acurate 3 round burst. I've been told that adding it to a 3 round burst weapon has no effect,so I've never tried. Although,if you have enough salvage you could try it on a garbage 3 round burst weapon and just retrieve the mod at the cost of losing the garbage weapon after you've experimented with it.

I actually played around with this on a assualt rifle I picked up that I didn't want. If you add the mod to a 3 round burst rifle it still does the same number of burst but fires 2 rounds with each burst. I can honestly say though I added it to a single fire carbine and it just shreds through everything.

Yeah 440x3 per burst is awesome.
