A public message to those of you who claim there's a lack of content!

I feel that there is plenty of content to this game. I have an ego rating close to 2000 an I still find things to do. Unfortunately, we live in what I like to call the A.D.D. age of gaming where most gamers have shiny object syndrome. They just want to be on to the next big thing. I say let them go, it will only make the community better for the rest of us

First off there is no content really. I have been playing since day one. The only thing that kept me up until a fe wmin ago was pursuits and daily contracts. It is a new game with no DLC yet and I understand that. The only part I do not agree with are the bugs that still exist. Some are minor, but others are not. For those who want to be elite and get every pursuit theres too many issues. Earlier ingame I had a mutant conflict spawn on me while driving. My veh blewup hitting a wall that popped up and I was almost killed by a mutant that appeared with conflict. I killed him and ran. I was at 2398/2500 kills for arkfall pursuit 3. I stayed away from scrapper/progenitor arks. Then a new hellbug maj ark spawned that I went to got a few kills and checked, I was at 76/2500. **** like that pisses me off. I have been trying long enough but the bugs are worse then when AoC was released for PC.
This game needs to:
1) Fix major bugs...then goto the minor bugs.
2) Stop giving contracts for features not available(Capture and Hold anyone??)
3) Allow peeps to faction eventually so theres a reason to play for something other than arkfalls (for competitive, it sucks and is unbalanced for newbs vs peeps with 2500 ego no lifers)

Yea I like the game i did rush it, but i still motivated to play this game by helping people and friends and completing pursuits

I've been playing a 3-4 hours every day (on average) for over a week now. I'm ego rating 800 and I'm nearing the end of Act 2 out of 5. I've been totally entertained, and I keep finding new stuff to do every day. I'm currently juggling pursuit completions and side/main missions as I slowly creep my way to Act 3. Currently holding 2 legendaries and 8 Epics and many outfits and titles due to pursuit completions.

I feel I'm playing the game right. I allow myself to get distracted in-game. Like if I'm driving to a mission and I see an interesting emergency I hop off my bike and complete it. Same goes with Arkfalls. I don't allow myself to get tunnel vision with one particular goal (like racing to the end of the game.)

I've noticed a slight yet steady increase in activity on my server too. I believe the majority of players are doing it this way, and there's a handful (say 100 or so) that have burned through the game and taken to the forums to cry about 'lack of content'. The rest of us (probably a couple hundred thousand) are happily going along on way, enjoying our time.

The first DLC will likely be released a month or two from now. The same will be done again. A handful will race through it and come to the forums to soak the pages in tears and the rest of us will quietly enjoy it. They never learn. Ever. It happens with every new MMO and every new expansion.

Sure, this game has no end-game, but it's not subscription based either. Is there an end-game in Call of Duty? Or Gears of War? Or Halo? Those of you who feel there's a lack of content need to remind yourself what type of game this is. You know who you are.

You have no right to be angry at TRION or those of us who tell you otherwise because it was your own fault for playing too much and getting burned out. Ofcourse you'll lose your motivation!

tldr; If you're given a delicious cake that's the size of a small horse and eat it none stop you'll get sick of it and throw it away. Take slices, enjoy them and then take more when you feel hungry again!

Glad to see this post and so many feeling the same. Same here. Enjoying the game, and taking my time. There is always lots to do. I am in no hurry.

I was going to to say, "Some men just want to watch the world burn. " but you wrote a beautiful post that is 100% true.

This game is a surprise to me. I never find myself bored or without anything to do. Can the missions get repetitive? Of course, but that goes with any game. And once they release the DLC, more fun shall be had.

I agree also! I mean they are working with what again? Around 500 megs of ram at best for consoles? yeah they are doing awesome all things concidering. Ofclurse I wish they added staples of MMos that been in such for years now but heck who knows how to handle so much info on so little of space relatively speaking.

Bugs do need fixin though. Just saying.

I actually love it. I don't think i am playing the right way as you say, all i do is do some of those missions and side quests and just have fun messin around with everything. Ya some things could be better, but i am having a blast with it. Here is how i rate games. If i start playing and all of a sudden my wife comes in and asks how much longer because i have work in the morning, then i realize i have been playing for 6 hours, its a good game. They just put us on 14 hour shifts and im still jamming home to get in an hour or so. I love this game. Cant wait to see what the add to it later or whatever. Take it easy everyone.

I feel for you...I work swing shift and so far, I love the game. I haven't even gotten through the second zone that they send you to yet.

ya and um no.first of all not everyone plays like you or expects the same from thier "mmo"
for me mmos are storm through the story to get to endgame or farming.if you think that story story story cuts it anymore it doesnt.
my "last"mmo i played for 7 years(12 mnths to max lvl),didnt finish all the content because the world was alive and vibrant.this game is neither.there is no connection to your toon since there is no tangable way to customise yourself or your dwelling.there is no auction house to grind gold,no nms to hunt,no raids,just story story story...like another mmo weve seen recently tried to do.thiers took a bit longer to finish though.with a slightly better story dripping in lore.plus they had huttball,that was fun.
not everybody plays mmo casualy or just a bit...some play it to death,and alot.

now personally i finished the story at lvl 330,did all the side quests before 500,did the story again,and am starting on challanges and doing my dailys.when im finished my dailys i stop.is there something else to do?is pvp working?are there nms to hunt?i dont eat my cake one slice at a time,i eat it till theres no cake left.but im still thinking about cake ,could eat pie instead...
