Considering SciFy has already signed season 2...you are full of shtako. They'll get it right. They have another game in dev atm too. Trion isn't going to simply fade into the dark with a whispered "my bad". $70mil invested into the game/show. They'll do everything humanly possible to recoup that investment.

How many people will still be willing to trust them by that time though.
Humanly possible doesn't mean it's even possible.
While it IS possible to salvage things..........I don't see it as a high probability they'll be able to.
Guess it's something we can only wait to find out what happens.

I've played many in the past and still do.
However no matter what I still hold developers accountable.
And even if these things have happened in the past doesn't mean people can ignore it occurring in the present. It's actually all the more reason Trion should have done more to avoid it. But like it's been said......it was more playable before it was released. Not to mention all I've seen from the patches is more bugs being noticeable and/or introduced.

Just because trucks with shoddy engines have been sold in the past, doesn't mean it should still be put up with in the market now.

Fixing bugs and glitches is not an easy task in a game where so many things flow together.

You say youve played many MMO's before, yet you dont understand how things work with them. Just because youre driving a car doesnt mean you can fix it.

Fixing a bug can cause unseen things to happen. They dont have a crystal ball to tell them, hey if you fix this, the pursuits for "blah blah" will cause a crash. They just dont know until they try. So the reason more bugs are happening, is because they are actually trying to fix other ones.

Hold whoever you want accountable. Nothing will ever stop that.

So tired of this crap, and while I usually ignore the apologists even they are starting to become a slight annoyance.

"Breaking more things then they fix" has basicly become the theme song of the defiance team, I am no game designer, but I know that if I managed to fail my customeers time after time like this in my job I would be choking up because I failed at my job, and I would be embarresed as hell, I would be doing everything possible to make it up to the customeer.

Throwing out empty promises is fine the first few times you **** UP, but you have no business working in any business if empty promises is the only thing you can deliver.

As for fixing stuff in a game being difficult, no one is saying its easy, but its very clear that the code behind defiance the game is is cluster**** minefield, that trion manages to trigger everytime they set foot in it.

What I want is a car that dosn't come with new dents everytime I pick it up from the mechanic, rightfully so, and I know damn well how those dents got there, someone ****ed up and that is all I as a consumer need to know.

I like the analogy, but it doesnt work like that.

I understand thats what you want. But thats not how things work with code in games. I remember this one time for christmas back in 91. I was 6. I got 2 things. None of which is what i wanted.
