I always have to chuckle at these articles.
DC Universe Online was SOE's fastest selling MMO at the time.
SWTOR sold 2.7 million copies.
Those are two recent examples.
Let's see what happens in 4-6 months. Let's see if Trion retains players, and if they retain players who will spend in the cash shop enough to keep revenue coming into further development.
If they do, then I'll gladly join in any celebration.
One million is not that much for register account and it means nothing. Reveal the peak player count and we will see.
1 mill is kinda pathetic, especially since it's cross platform.
That's so weird. I wonder why they couldn't just come out with actual sales figures?

Only 1 mill and it's on 3 platforms? That is pretty low.
Seems like if it is a cross platform MMO, they tend to only sell roughly 1 million, but PC exclusive MMOs tend to get nearly double that if not more. The only exception to this seems to be Final Fantasy XI.
