Well now...here I am posting. Significance ? I usually don't post unless there is something that I extremely appreciate and I'm really excited about....or that it is something that is extremely wrong and disappointing. So I don't post a lot. Unfortunately

this posting isn't something I am excited about nor do I appreciate has happened. So let me get down to it and get it all out of my system and put in my 5 cents. 2 wasn't enough.
First off let me just say that this is a game I can see a lot of potential for as I'm sure plenty of others would agree. I supported this game AND the TV show for the sole purpose that it is something new, something interesting, something a little different and for the balls to make a game and TV show work hand in hand and created side by side. An example of this is seeing Nolan and Irisa in the game via "Episode Quest" before the launch of the show. The idea that they leave the bay area and then show up at St. Louis, imo, was very clever and showed just how neat the interaction between the game and the tv show can be. This is something I would love to see more of

.
Now with that being said I have enjoyed the game for the most part, overlooking the disconnects, the lag, the buggy items, the reloading bug animation, loadouts
AND the fact that the "synergies" are not even working
(You guys and gals at Trion reaaally need to get on that btw). I have even looked over all those times the Co-op maps were broken
(well not really..that is superbly annoying
) or the fact that the $12 bucks I spent on clan boost never worked. Heck ... I'm sad to say that I have yet to complete all of the Co-op maps due to the boss kills not registering thus leaving the "instance" incomplete/stuck or just to the fact they would be broken the day I try to play them

. These are just the issues that stick out strongly in my mind as there is several other issues not mentioned. I overlooked all this because I know how buggy early mmo's can be and also the fact I still had plenty of side quests and story quests to do.
Now that I have completed those missions...I find myself trying to keep busy in the game via the Pursuits, Contracts, Arkfall hunting and Co-op maps like a lot of other gamers. I have spent quite a bit of time rolling around in my roller working on these things which unfortunately are quite tedious. After downloading the 1.13 patch and logging in today and checking my Pursuits...I was

, how can I say this politely, beyond disappointed
(and that is really sugar coating it) to see that the counter for all the kills I had for all my guns, all of my "total" kills, all of my powerslides for vehicles and people I "resurrected" during major arkfall events all reset to 0

. That was just what I noticed in the 5 mins I was logged in before the game server was taken down for emergency maintenance. The 4442 of 5000 bolt action sniper kills was particularly crushing to see reset to 0. A face palm smiley would be appropriate here. At least I got my 5000 for assault rifles before this occurred

.
These kind of issues really are game breakers due to the abundance of other minor problems in the game ... especially since weapons are virtually un-important
(I say that because it makes no sense that a 336 EGO weapon is just as good as a 1162 EGO weapon of the same type..
..which is a whole thread topic in itself. ) It's almost the equivalent of starting all over from scratch with the exception that at least your EGO ranking is still functional. These Pursuits, Contracts, Arkfall hunting, Co-op maps and PvP are the only thing that is keeping this game going AND players coming back. At least for me it is and when these things are not working consistently or I really should say are consistently breaking ... it is really quite the let down. With all this I find it extremely hard to motivate myself to continue playing the game

. I just can't in good conscious go back and re-do all those pursuits that took me weeks to accumulate to acquire what a title and a new costume ? Hardly worth the time required as it is, much less having the counters constantly reset due to poor foresight and testing and having to redo them completely. As a result this gives me the feeling that there is no reason what so ever of coming back to the game. What is the incentive ?
In conclusion, if these things are not fixed and stable ASAP ... I foresee a mass exodus of gamers away from this title that had "Ohh so much" potential. This in turn makes me wonder how much this will affect the TV show. I for one have no problem cutting ties with a game that is consistently frustrating and broken even IF I spent money on the Season Pass and a few bucks on some bits. I will be hanging up the game for a bit... maybe try back in a week or so. But If I don't see these counters given back to me reasonable amount of time or at least compensated in some way given the time and money I've spent on this game ... I really can't see me coming back to this game as well I'm sure others feel the same. Gamers can put up with a lot of issues regarding games that they like ... but the gamers patience are not infinite ... they are quite finite.
Oh and as a side note .... people that bought the game after the TV show should have access to the "Episode" quests involving Nolan and Irisa .... the fact they missed out and can't experience those quests is really quite unacceptable and frankly stupid. Sorry ... I couldn't sugar coat that one. Also .... when it comes to patches .. does Trion even play test these patches to see if they work before you release them live thus breaking so many things gamers worked so long for

? The current trend in this game is giving the impression that you don't ... and that makes for a poor company image. Just sayin.
