u should not surprise.. if u buy a MMO.. so u should know this WILL happen..

Amen...I remember the first week another MMO launched...it was the worst week in the history of MMO's, hell, it was the worst first two years in the history of MMOs...try Saturday Night raid lock ins since the instance servers would crash and burn at 9pm every Saturday with no warning and emergency maintenance like every other day. It was so bad, they refunded many people days and weeks of game time.

Be glad it's a buy the box and dlcs only type MMO...not a full blown monthly sub.

I disagree,Trion is looking like a one trick pony to me.I tested and bought RIFT which kept me busy for about a month which is ok because thats about all I get out of a console game and Defiance may turn out the same.I bought this game with the intention of interacting with NPCs from the show and that just isnt how it is.Yes I enjoy the game but unless im in a run thats only point is to get the costume I feel like im all alone in the game.

Anyone will offer you a refund and happily if you approach the situation appropriately and use the right method's. It's called Consumer rights and your financial institution. But that's not to say it isn't at times a slippery slope. if you don't plan on playing anymore go to your bank or credit card company and they will take care of it, your trion account will prolly get banned, but who cares since your leaving anyway right?

You purchased the product, agreed to the terms of service, used the product, then suddenly decided you didn't want/ like the product any more and weren't willing to accept the terms of service ( a contract) after agreeing to them. You then fraudulently dispute a legitimate charge you agreed too. Buying the game wasn't an unauthorized charge nor was it a billing error. Making fraudulent disputes on your credit/debit card penalties vary from bank to bank, but all it takes is Trion responding to your disputed charge within 90 days and you are screwed. And yes, companies will often respond to these charge backs. So go ahead and try your luck.

actually its an easy count of paying for a service that is not being rendered. something that is becoming much to acceptable these days.
