Naming your characters

I do wonder how many will use real names for
their characters in the game. I myself would and
would look to movies and tv for inspiration.

Some that come to mind

Malcolm Reynolds (from the series Firefly )
Max (Mad Max movies )
Jayne (also from Firefly )

I myself would probably name him Paden after the Kevin Kline character
in the movie Silverado.

New game. New Name...

[BLOODMODE]

I have an online persona associated with BLOODMODE but for some games I will use an alternate that I have derived but it depends on the nature of the game. I won't ever sacrifice for an underscore or combining the names, for that I'll just simply use BLOODMODE.


Different strokes for different folks, but I always raise an eyebrow at people who borrow names from other fantasy worlds and don't come up with something original.

I think I'll have to wait til I fully create my character and then a proper name will pop into my head.

It almost feels like I'll stifle any freeflowing creativity if I go into the character molding process with a predetermined name. Im pretty fu*king excited about it though because I loved to make characters in the UFC games but have never before played an MMO, which I hear have some of the best character customization out there

I've been using 'HellsingDS' for a while now but I'm starting to grow weary of having to put DS on the end just to guarantee that it's not already in use. I'll be ditching the fan boy thing this time though and making a permanent switch to my new forum name

I'm also planning on making a clan called 'Snake Eyes' keyed towards brown-coats, steam punk enthusiasts and people of similar subcultural tastes whilst catering to different play styles dependant on popularity and the enthusiasm of members hosting their own events. I originally thought of making a variant of the Serenity logo with a different word but my love for Poker and being a misfit kicked in and took over (being a little more original helps too) ;p

Currently hard at work learning how to use new graphic software and video editing tools so I can have my enjin site all shiny and ready for the beta
