Naming your characters

They are from movies that I like.

(from the western The Magnificent Seven)

Vin Tanner
Lee
Britt

Now to names that fit the post-apocalptic setting of Defiance
(from Steel Dawn, an 80s post apocalptic movie.)
Nomad (this was the name the main character was listed under in the credits.)

Well usually what I do is pick the core names such as regular words of the English language since those are the first to go, then when those are out I go for the names that I have used since I was young such as Freeman, and yes the freeman from Half life After that its just pure random:P

I will use shivan for my main toon than after that i see what the game is about than name my next toons around the npc type of name.

I do wonder how many will use real names for
their characters in the game. I myself would and
would look to movies and tv for inspiration.

Malcolm Reynolds (from the series Firefly )
Max (Mad Max movies )
Jayne (also from Firefly )

I myself would probably name him Paden after the Kevin Kline character
in the movie Silverado.

Firefly names, good choice! I will probably look to DJs and Producers for my name, or stick with Titchi.
