Thinking of going with "Deathrow" for now. I might change my mind though.
I always give my characters a role-play name, no L33TSC0P3S type of junk here...
Haven't decided yet if I'll give my character a real name or a codename though. I feel like in this setting, his real name would be the one to use. He's just another man, trying to survive and make his way in a mad world.
True while I'm not comparing this to Borderlands, but you can name your character in Borderlands and the only thing you see when you are playing with other people are there PSN names. That was more on the lines of what I was asking if your psn will be visible to other players or your actual character name?

I would assume not, I don't really know too much when it comes to XBL and PSN for Defiance. There hasn't been too much released on the console versions. However, some of the live stream footage they were playign with players from all platforms and there were some pretty interesting names that, in my eyes, were not PSN names or XBL names. So it's possible but who knows. I plan to stick with PC for this title. If you have a twitter it might be a good question to tweet for them. Devs seem to get back to those questions posted on twitter.
I don't twitter and I have both Xbox and PS3 and would guess that like in every game, your Xbox live name will be displayed above your characters head however I play two MMOs on the PS3 and one shows your PSN and the other shows your actually character name.
It is rumored that Defiance will have an open world for all three platforms to play simultaneously, is there any truth to this? Meaning regardless if you own a PC, PS3, or Xbox version of the game you will be able to play together?
