It can be tricky at times. I have found a good way to do it is just pick a place on the map and have people meet up.

yeah, my friend was blinking (in and out of group) but the random that was in the coop mission he was ok, when we got out off the mission

My son and I were having the same problem. The only time we could actually play together was on one of the two co-op maps. We will keep trying this weekend, and I hope there is a trick to it we haven't figured out. Exploring the world with your friends is why we play MMOs, so it's a significant issue for us.
It has happened to me a few times, I just select myself in group and teleport to leader.. if you don't fall threw the map, it works.. LOL

Right now, grouping up seems rather tricky and difficult. If you actually do manage to get into a group and can't find each other, the non-leader people should have a "join leader" option on the group leader's name. Use that and you'll be put in the same "instance" of the game (there are several copies of the map or instances, each holding a certain number of people). You'll then get a loading screen and be re-spawned at the closest spawn point to the leader.
Voice chat is still pretty bad and usually fails within a few minutes, so for now, use text chat once you are grouped up (or do the miming/emote thing to communicate).
There are a couple of glitches with the group system though... sometimes you can't group up even though the other person is definitely playing. It just doesn't show the option to group or says they've turned down the group invite (when they haven't). The other issue is that the person will continue to show in your group long after they have left the game (which might create issues if more people are joining the group). My husband and I are both in the beta and he left the game and turned his system completely off... but for at least the next half hour it continued to show him in my group and had a green dot at his last location before leaving the game). Basically if you can't find a group member... they could have left the game quite awhile ago.
The grouping does need work, but it is somewhat functional right now... just use that "join group leader" option!

Thanks much for the tip on the "Join Group Leader" option. Four of us plan on playing together tonight in the beta, and that will be crucial.
