I don't know of a quick way for AR, but for combat shotgun if you do the first Hotshot in Mount Tam repeatedly it goes fairly quick. If you do it right you get about 60+ kills with the combat shotgun per run. It's boring and repetitive but it gets the job done pretty quickly.
Do the LMG Mutant and Shotgun Mutant Hotshots in MOUNT TAM.. do the Bolinas Sniper Hotshot in Madera for bolt action kills.
LMG Mutant if you reach gold - you'll get around 120 kills
Shotgun Mutant - good luck getn Gold
Bolinas Sniper - just kill all 54 9ners before you run out of ammo
it can be done.. trust me.. I'm 94/104 challenges complete
all I need to do is Social and the last 2 competitive Uplinks pursuits..
go to the area where the 4 turrets are... about 15 raider trucks...there are constant spawns of around 50 hellbugs..the raiders u have to deal with...and a hulker...all at the same time...its where i grind my kills...in one battle i got my pump shotgun up 2 lvls/...heh
THIS IS BY FAR, THE FASTEST WAY TO GET KILLS FOR ANY PURSUIT
I completed Boomstick to the Face in early April. You can get the 5000 kills in 30 minutes by doing the following: Get a syphon combat shotgun , get the perk that regenerates your ammo every time you get a melee kill, go to the first Hot Shot in Defiance - Shotgun Mutant Hot Shot (closest by ER Camp), start the hot shot, hit start/go to inventory, switch to your combat shotty, get infinite kills. When you get low on ammo, get a melee kill. (Once your ammo hits 0, the hot shot ends, so make sure to get a melee kill when you're at half ammo)
Syphon is the purple nano effect - it steals health from your target.
If you want kills for any other pursuit, just switch the weps.
That is a great spot....
oh for a quick reminder.. you can 1 shot kill the 9ners in Bolinas Sniper.. just make sure you go to the Cloak perks and equip the "Do damage when your Higher then enemy" perk, and "Do more damage from Cloak" perk. Yes, even tho it doesn't show you're cloaked.. you're actually cloaked in that mission. So use those 2 perks. I did and set the record with the max points you can get in that challenge.
Wrong hotshot...sharpshooter savior is the one where you are cloaked...
I found the best way is to find an area that spawns a Jek load of Hellbugs, gather them all up and deploy decoy into a wall or down a dock while you blast the Jek out of them. clean up the mission, leave area and repeat.
