I honestly feel like Ive gotten more game then what I paid for, especially when you consider that they will keep adding to the game even without a subscription or buying the DLCs, which I probably will. If I were paying a subscription fee on top of the $60 Id probably would say no, at this point.

The game is not quite like a traditional MMO with a fee, it's much more then an FPS without a fee, which would also cost about $60, so yeah I got my moneys worth and then some.

Does the game have some quirks? Sure, all games do. Is it everything I hoped it would be? No but it's rare that a game usually is. I do see a lot of potential for this game and I see Trion working on making it better. So yeah I got my $60 and if I keep playing it and new content keeps coming I'll be getting even more then that.

I paid for the Ultimate Edition and paid Gamestop extra to ship it overnight ($174 in total). Have I gotten my money's worth? I have received everything from the UE and pre orders. I have enjoyed this game so far. But with the new patches and especially the changes to the contribution system, I am beginning to not want to play Defiance 6 or more hours a day. I have even regressed back to playing EVE, a mmo that I have been away for 3 months now. Not regretting the $50 to reactivate my account for 6 months at all.

I don't normally game much ... like at all. But I bought the game with the hopes I'd get a little more into the series, maybe get some interesting backstories and get a feel for life in this new world. (And maybe piss away some time on something other than Netflix in this little rural hole I call home.)

I went all out and bought the UE, and even spending that much, I think I've got my money's worth. Yes, it's buggy as hell, and at EGO 1200, I am showing far less excitement about playing, BUT if I were to shelve this game and never come back to it, I wouldn't feel like I was cheated. (That being said, I will shelve it at some point, but only until new content comes out. And even then, probably not until after the TV series has finished for the season.)

I bought the standard version, 60 bucks. I don't do collectors editions.

I feel I am getting my money's worth. I'm at 90 hours played, which is about 78 more hours than the typical 60-dollar Xbox 360 game gives me.

and I've enjoyed every minute of it thus far.

between Neverwinter and Defiance, I'm not sure that I'll be buying any more games anytime soon.

    waiting patiently for Camelot Unchained.

Easily got my 60$ worth, as I've blown more than that in a single night out, and bought the season pass when it was still discounted .. which granted, haven't gotten that value YET, but hadn't really expected to so I'm not unhappy with the purchase. I've also spent about 30$ worth of bits in the store for pretty clothes and a pink truck .. all of which has made me happier playing so that was money well spent also.

Did I get my money's worth?? Yes... I would have to say it does have more content than most. Does it live up to it's potential? Hell no. If this game actually functioned flawlessly it would go down as the best game on xbox 360. But instead everything has something wrong with it. Nothing major enough to hang it up. But enough to put a sour taste in your month. If they don't improve I will fast be moving on to the next shooter that comes out. Really glad I learned my lesson on black ops. Don't buy dlc till it's ready. I got season pass and hate COD. I'm ego 1900 striving for magic 2000. If I don't start getting some mod sets that match I will hang this up for sure. Getting sick of same old guns all day everyday. Big list of cool stuff I can't do anything with.

Did I get my money's worth? Sure why not - Got the Digital Deluxe and got cool suits, a couple nifty guns, and the lore/story is pretty alright and not entirely shallow like some other MMO games and/or television shows.

But do I feel like I have been screwed a little? Well after finding out a few hours ago that they dropped over $100 Million Dollars American on this game and it's still practically a Beta-game with less things than the actual Beta had (or at least according to people/videos on YouTube, since I could never even DOWNLOAD my own Beta client). And they still try to pass this off as if they are working hard to fix this game when they are clearly not even done with the game they released a month ago.

It still amazes me that all of you are so quick to judge when this game, an MMO, is still in it's stages of infancy. Plenty of content to come (A year and a half worth of planned content, I read on a dev post) and new stuff being added frequently.

I think you're all expecting far too much of something that has only just reached a month old. Content is not born out of nowhere then magically brought over by the DLC stork. It's hand crafted by artisans that are taking your every criticism to heart and working around that to make you content they hope you will enjoy.

Sure, if you've got a bug that's stopping/slowing your game progression, then I can agree you have something to complain about. But complaining about a lack of content when new content is being rolled out slowly but surely is like complaining that you didn't get enough grains of rice in your sushi handroll.
