Defiance - Large Cities

I really wish Defiance had huge cities like the TV show where players can meet up and socialize.
Here are some ideas for cool features within the cities.

1. Banks - Banks could be where you can deposit and withdraw money. You would also be able to give people checks and they could take it to the bank to retrieve money.

2. Bars - Bars would be a very good place to socialize with people. You would be able to meet up with new people as well as hang out with your current friends. They could also have frequent card games set up in which you can bet Scrip or Items with each other.

3. Clothing Stores - Clothing Stores would be a nice way to get different types of outfits for your character. It will somewhat act the same way as a vehicle vendor because it would take outfits already in the game and randomize the colors to add more variety. Clothing Stores could also have daily sales for certain outfits.

4. Barber/Doctor - Barbers and Doctors would be a fantastic way to fix your character's appearance without having to make a new account. The barber could allow you to buy new hairdos that would usually not be available at the beginning of the game. The doctor would allow you to change the facial features on your face as well as removing unwanted face paintings or scars.

5. Mayor's Bulletin - The Mayor's Bulletin will allow players to do various task for the city in return of Reputation Points. The task on the bulletin will be daily and limited. Their will be an average of 4 task and each task you complete will have a randomized Reputation system. Instead of getting Reputation for Soleptor Enterprises every time, you may be able to get reputation from a different organization every time you complete a tasks. A very good example for a task is the mayor wants you to hunt down a Wanted Raider and when you complete it, you return evidence that he is dead and you will be awards Reputation Points.

6. Auctioning Houses - Auctioning Houses would be an awesome idea to get better items in a more competitive way. An item would be auctioned in a room and multiple players would bid towards that item with a certain amount of Scrip. Whoever has the greater amount of money would be capable of receiving the item.

7. Gun Store/Firing Range - Gun Stores and Firing Ranges would help alot when getting weapons. You would be able to buy a weapon from the store and then take it to the firing range and test it out. It would make buying weapons alot easier due to the fact that we always have to run to an enemy to try it out.

8. Brothel - Brothels could be a place very similar to a bar but instead will have prostitutes walking around. This type of place would be a good place to socialize because people could still play cards together or just watch the girls. Also they are in the TV show, so this would be a great factor within the game. Plus, many of the guys probably would except this idea anyways.

9. Casino - Casinos are a great idea for this game if your looking for some good items. All you would need to do is gamble with people or put some money in a slot machine and see what you get out of it. Plus, who wouldn't want to earn an Orange Weapon for winning a jackpot!

10. Trading Post - Random post throughout the cities in which you can bargain with the salesperson and get better deals. You would be able to trade Scrip or Items in return for something better (if he negotiates with you).

11. Machine Shop - Machine Shops would be a place where a player can take in weapons to remove mods without fully destroying it. This place would sell Mods and Vehicles. The vehicles they sell will be more unique than any other vendor and could have daily sales for certain vehicles.

12. Arena - Arenas could be areas in which you can play survival modes with friends to rack up your leaderboard stats and get items for surviving a certain amount of rounds. Their could even by a competitive feature in which you can verse other players in return of some of their items. You bet each other things and who ever wins gets the prize.

Well when I first saw Defiance game, I imagined how great it would be if the comunity of the game could really interact with the series, and i had a little idea, why don't we (the players of defiance) elect a place to call home xP we give a name (by votes of course) to the settlement (a settlement of humans and irathien, it's a rare thing ah!), makes it's fundation and if it turn big and the majority of player participate of this base, we could even suggest it to be mentioned at the series and incorporated to the Defiance history. I know it's sounds like an utopic idea but i don't know i think it would be really really nice. That's my crazy dreams... just that...

Like it so far, here’s some suggestions.
-Town hall, purchas rep (reputation)

-Arenas/fight club, set up fights between players and enemies, would have to be a big arena because you’d be using guns.

-Machine shop, can reset weapon exp and remove weapon mods without having to destroy the weapon or the mod, can also purchase vehicles.
