It's not paying out the wazoo for me but might be for others. I paid the $150 (Still not out the wazoo) but it's Money. When you pay money you're a customer.
I think his point is he paid money and when they patch they break more then they fix and it's getting tiring on the community.
Some have more patience than others when it comes to spent money.
I think it has something to do with standards. I don't think it's unreasonable to have a set of standards to meet for a game launch. They (All MMO makers) have lowered our standards for what we buy with our dollars by making these things "normal" for an MMO.
