Crossbows have always been pretty popular in games and being a Walking Dead fan, I'd love to have one! You can make them futuristic and shoot flames for all I care. A crossbow can kill a hellbug just as easy as a gun....maybe.

Shoots explosive arrows, maybe a confusion one that attacks nearby enemies. Maybe one that teles you to wear you shot it?

Maybe a tracer that locks any! Explosives to it? Maybe a poison that makes all bullets crits for 3 seconds?

chaos you don't like melee weapons, you don't like crossbows, what is your weapon of choice, and why can't people have other ones?
Crossbows eh? If you want explosives, there are missile launchers, grenade launchers, hell even shotguns for all that.
Teleportation? Pfft..I got decoy.
Hate to crush your dreams, but it ain't happening.
Next they'll be screaming out for katanas.
I'm going to go with a hint and say that he likes guns. He probably doesn't want other ones as he bought this game as a third person shooter.
