If you can spend money on the game, then it is launched. I don't care about the "open beta" marketing.

and I like the game, I'm not bashing it. I'm just saying that all launch MMOs have their issues.

I would feel happier about this if they'd put local servers in the Oceanic region (NZ/Australia) instead of making us play with 300ms-380ms pings.

Till they do, action games are a bit meh to me.

Been done a couple of times, and failed miserably, doubt it will happen again unless the game is developed there.

Considering how a majority of my own clan bailed this game to play Neverwinter, Perfect World must be making a killing off of this game.

BTW neverwinter is new and many people want to try it ..its FREE but as always many people will leave it after a timem and come back to their favorite MMO. Now neverwinter is taking players from every MMO.

No the only real difference is Cryptic got hammered twice in the past for what they considered retail ready. So they slapped the 'Open Beta' disclaimer on to attempt to protect themselves somewhat for reviews.

But they still consider their game worth taking your money over, and wont be doing any more character wipes. Thats a Launch no matter what they call it.
