I really don't like cryptic as a company, was burned by Champions and Star trek but after losing my love for defiance i decided to give neverwinter a go, its a proper blast for anyone that's wondering about playing. If you wanna send real money your gonna have an easier time getting stuff but you don't have to spend real money to get the stuff the real money people are getting. Its either spend real money for less work or work hard and earn it, i prefer to work hard. The player made content is awesome and its like playing someones book. The controls are simple yet fun and the community is all pretty nice so far.

You can get zen without spending real money, like i said it just takes hard work to do so. I also havnt seen unbalanced pvp yet but i am only like level 30, but pvp isnt why im playing the game i am enjoying the PVE side of the game and im always first or 2nd on dmg done in dungeons. I dont need to spend any money to progress like i said, it makes it easier yes but thats how the company makes its money. Much better than SWTOR lol where i can only do 2? pvp matches a week and 2 dungeons and no raids unless i pay some money lol. I even bought SWTOR and stayed for a few months when it was released and nothing to show for it except a **** you very much.

Neverwinter is a game that was created to make money on micro transactions. To be effective at end game, you'll be spending money.

It was an okay game despite that, and it did have Popori. But EnMasse tried to pull some shady billing practices on me that caused some bad bad blood. Its not easy to make me feel more ripped off than I did buying a lifetime subrcription to a game that went F2P. But they managed.

Just made it to level 30 and I know very well what you refer to ... uber companions from the shop and skill respecs costing something around 6$/€?

But it might have potential despite of that ... if they fix tanking, threat generation and taunts are badly balanced.
