I notice you didn't answer the question.

Absolutely true, but don`t forget that space was mostly generic and frankly just there to stretch the required play time. Miles of copy&paste woods to cross with static mobs dropped into it. Perfect design if your main goal is to keep the subscription fees coming in.

Character creation on Defiance I have to agree, it`s rather weak sadly. Choices are limited, and viable choices even more.

Which ones? I can think of several that do not meet that criteria. Which ones do you think are inferior to the mediocre and uninspired character creation tool in Defiance?

There are three areas in Defiance: Mount Tam, The Middle, and San Francisco. Three. If you want to talk about copy/paste, there you go.

I'd be perfectly fine with it if they manage to layer enough content on it to merit a complete game in the box. They have not, as the difficulty of the hardest enemy tier in the game (Dark Matter) is absolutely laughable once you **** around with them for an hour or so.

The lack of difficulty in all co-op missions is absolutely ludicrous if they want to call themselves an MMO or a TPS. They are tutorial-level, at best.

Mount Tam, Madera, Marin, Sausalito and San Fransisco. They're all connected without instancing/loading too. I never played WoW on launch so I can't comment about the copy/paste of the scenery. I don't think we can compare the two games however. Years apart and different genre/pricing model. I only drew the comparison to its character creator because that Hater guy asked me to.

Are you talking about WoW or Defiance? I mean let's be honest I could drop you anywhere into defiance and you wouldn't be able to tell where you were without bringing up the map because the entire zone is the exact same.

At least in games life Rift, WoW, or the like you can get some hints. Oh, I'm in grassland... that's these 2-3 zones. Sand everywhere? One of these 4 zones. Lava and Mountains? Oh that zone. Creepy undead land? Must be one these zones. Swamp Land? Ah... something else.

have trion take away our vehicles, fast travel, and give us a ridiculously slow "run" speed like WoW or FF online when it came out, I think youll find the defiance world just became a lot bigger. Still not as big as other MMO's but it is hardly a small world. I stopped playing FF online because I was tired of spending 30 minutes running back to town, I guess empty landscape that serves no purpose other than a time sink is what people really want in this game. lol

Mount Tam is a ruin of out city suburbs infested by mutants. Marin is terraformed grassy countryside infested by hellbugs, with a few ranches and farms dotted about the place. Marin is covered in mines, factories and processing plants, very industrial, home to the cyborg miners called the 99ers. I haven't been to Sausalito yet. San Fransisco is a charred wastleland of terraformed spires and pools of acid. It'd dark and ash rains from the sky. Cyborg DarkMatter roam the landscape there.

I'm sorry if you rushed through the game and can't remember any of it, but that doesn't mean the rest of us did!
