Flop? or Not?

Considering the cost of the game, I very much look forward to its relaunch to coincide with season 2 of the show. Which, while in production, is not in filming-- and can be dropped at any time.

By the time you hit 40 even if you had a car that moved 2 times the speed of anything in Defiance you've still explored WAY more world and landspace then exists in all of defiance.

Heck even rift did the same thing where you didn't get a faster mount until level 30-40 or something like that. It's just how it was done, but speed or not it doesn't change the fact that the world's were still bigger.

So yeah I guess I am silly, because I do find it amazing that I could quickly travel right from the start of this game instead of having to wait until my EGO hit 2500.

Wow's world was bigger, MUCH bigger at launch then Defiance. The speed you travel the world doesn't change that.

WoW is nearing 10 years old and it's character customization (which sadly is better!) was designed 10 years ago. Which is what he was stating -_-.

Defiance didn't even beat the MMO's who are still implementing designs from a decade ago and that is how you are going to defend you're "what exactly is wrong with it" statement?.

Eye, nose and mouth types, bone structure, blemishes/scars, piercings, tattoos, facepaint, alien markings, eye colour.. There's probably more I can't remember as I haven't created a new character in 2 weeks. These are all features of Defiance's character creator that WoW doesn't do. I know WoW is old, I've played it for several years now but I was asked "What other popular MMO's character creator isn't as complex as Defiance's?" So I chose it as an example as you know.. it's THE most popular MMO out there...
