Sorry to tell you this but YOUR money... is pocketchange in the gaming industry. Just because YOU paid them doesn't mean they have to do anything for you. What they do is for the benefit of the community and the company. Simply put... hop of their co*k and wait it out. MMOS on console for starters is hard to host to begin with; very few start out successful... actually 90% of mmos on PC start out at expectation. You sound like the average world of warcraft kid that couldn't make it big and came to a game just out of beta to try your luck. Everyone that thinks grinding is hard... lol 1 emergency offers 5k exp+ which there are several locations that spawn them every 4mins... it took me 2 days to get from 600 ego to 1.6k ego guess this game isn't meant for the baby-booming spoon fed generation c:
Wait, you are nowhere near finishing all the content and you're complaining that there is no content?
Let me let you in on a secret: People on forums like to ***** about ****. They will always ***** about ****. The reason the "hardcore" players are out of content is because they're crazy and rushed through everything.
Take people's *****ing with a grain of salt. There is no need for you to advocate for people complaining about something that is in no way an issue for you.
ego rating 2566 24 days playtime I am hardcore and going no where I have the patience unlike most people on these forums to wait out the growing pains that apparently you guys didn't expect to this degree while I knew stuff like this is gonna happen the first month or 2 any mmo vet knows this is exactly how it goes if your to impatient to wait comeback after a few months you'll be surprised at whats been added.
+1 this. 2225 Ego, not even remotely tired of the game. Am I a bit put off by things like what happened today? Sure. But that shows me I still care about the game. If I was truly out the door, I wouldn't of cared if my characters progress got screwed, and I wouldn't be hanging around the forums commenting on it or making threads or posting anything.. I'd of just moved on.
You mean there are actually people left who don't psychologically implode if they have to actually earn something? Next you'll be telling me there's a hidden vale off Mount Tam with unicorns and elves! Nobody should have to actually work for anything, everyone knows anything worth having is handed to you.
I'm not leaving (these forums). I've long since quit playing the game though. When an actual patch with working content hits, I'll be back.
I'm very sorry to say, but your inability to write casts a shadow on any point you may be trying to make.
Trion sold a support-based product, and Trion has failed to deliver the support promised over the last month. This is immutable. This is not negotiable. They have failed their product, audience, and brand.
And I, along with the other "trolls" as you put it so very eloquently, have no reason to support them in their failure. If they want support, then they will earn it by finishing what they started and delivering a product worthy of their name.
Until then no matter how many angry ellipsis or mangled walls of text you post, myself and others like me will remain. There is nothing you can do to make us leave, and nothing Trion can do to make us leave. Their inaction and continued failure to deliver made this happen, and as long as they fail to deliver it will get worse.
Truth is; forums were made in the first place for the gamers to bi*ch and complain so that the GMs and Devs didn't have to listen to it in their inboxes/in game first hand. Its a place for trolls to troll, cry babies to cry, and allow players to basically talk to a brick wall. 1 out of every 5 devs will actually read a logical thread and think "hmm maybe something SHOULD be done" they will read over the general discussion sections (occasionally), ideas (occasionally), bug reports (often), offtopic (hardly ever), shops (when they are playing their character and need something).
