I'd like to thank Schwa for all his posts. He's said everything I wanted to in this thread as I read through it - so much so that I didn't really have to add in my responses to this already long thread.

sadly im beginning to agree with you while I love this game and play it a lot I am finding that the pursuits don't spawn enough for you to complete them in the required time and that I am getting no where with customer service anymore they just close the tickets and move on no explanation or anything nice I was thinking about buying the season pass etc looking forward to it actually but am having serious second thoughts about this game I hope they address these issues soon
LMAO!!! I said this a week after the game went live with an early Alpha version.

were talking about the game,
Careful, you might loose this fight, Anne Frankly why does everybody have to bring up the Nazis?

That's the thing-- they have the right philosophy, but they implemented it so poorly players can't see it. So they ask for other genres to get copy/pasted over.

Safe to say the mods disagree with him. Much of the 42-pages of this thread are very constructive identified issues and complaints with game design, not the superficial "I Liek it" and walk out.
I "liek" it too. But that doesn't mean I can't point to the huge craters of missing design that need to be filled or other smaller issues with the game's service. Pointing to them without claiming this is the worst game ever or that it will fail is constructive, even repeatedly, whereas just "sucking it up" encourages no one to improve.
Unfortunately my friend, if we do not have any serious talk about Defiance's state as we speak, like this thread we have here, everything we have will end up the same as Tabula Rasa, FF14, Autoassault, SWG, Matrix Online or Hellgate London etc...
It is sadly not threads that they will have to close down, but the game itself.
And we are having these serious conversations right here right now, trying to prevent that to happen.
I've been in so many MMOs that ended up dead and closed, that i know what i'm talking about.
It doesn't take much.
Player base that goes thinner and thinner, not enough income generated from the game itself and its store + no monthly fees income + tons of salaries to pay, fees to keep the game online and running etc etc.
You are ending up spending most of the income just to try to keep the game alive and don't have enough to generate new content.
You can be big or small, called Sony, NCsoft, Square or Trion, it doesn't matter who you are, when you are caught in this circle, and not taking action right away, the margin of error is extremely thin.
No time to ride the line!
