Good thing they extended the beta.

Is it embarrassing knowing that your servers couldn't even handle the first 5 minutes of your official xbox stress test?

Besides, we don't even know the situation. It may not be a server load issue, but that the server wasn't initialized properly or who knows what.

Me mad? lol, no, I find this absolutely hysterical. i love when companies boast false confidence, make claims, and then fall flat on their faces after making said claims. this is absolute gold in my eyes.

He's got a point, this is kinda the ENTIRE point of running a beta in the first place. Ill admit im just disappointed.

Totally agree, i simply think it's hilarious that they were so confident there wouldn't be any issues on the 360 due to all the extensive testing. Then, within 5 minutes of the beta launch there is catastrophic failure. Don't get me wrong, love the company, love the game. but i'm still glad that trion is getting a reality slap across the face.

Yeah, I think that they underestimated the 360 interest honestly.

Also, I'm not sure they were super confident in the 360 build, but that was a common rationalization for the short beta. I myself even said it once or twice. In reality it could have been company politics that initially reigned in the beta...or maybe they needed those few days to reinforce their 360 servers.

As the point of this thread... it's a good thing they extended the Xbox beta, given the current situation. I think if they haven't, THEN we could poke them about being confident about being "ready".
