I'm starting to get burned out.

Its becoming a grindfest of side missions and arkfalls, emergencies and whatnot. The loot drops keep being crap. I would like to have at least a couple of good weapons with decent mods to experience. It feels like Trion REALLY wants me to play infectors and BMGs because that's all I'm really getting. The other stuff that drops is usually crappier than the ones I got out of a vendor. Lock box keys are a joke unless you spend your whole day doing arkfalls and then its a crapshoot when you finally get a lockbox and likely as not you'll get some crappy stuff you can't use and you're off for more hours of fun in the arkfall circus to eek out a few more keys to try again.

Dumb mindless grinding is what killed WoW for me and is starting to get under my skin in Defiance as well. Its a shame too. Conceptually, its the Fallout New Vegas MMO I always wanted but its coming up short for me.

You didn't mention pvp in your post, do you pvp at all? If not, I was only slightly starting to get burnt out, but just started pvping and I must say, it's opened up a whole new experience to the game for me. If you haven't I highly recommend it.

You talking about cloak? Otherwise I don't get it, I see people at far distances all the time.

Yes, The end game of Defiance was supposed to be PVP. But it just blew people away with the lack of weapon varity in the game.

I mean if you want to get kill, you will need at least 'shotgun' in one of your weapon slot, otherwise, you won't stand a chance.

and also with only 2 small maps, 1 long queue shadow war, and another broken map. it can possibly get burned out so fast as well
