New Xbox

I'm pretty sure the "NeXtBox" will play used games. I mean "rented" games are used why would they cut off all of those people who buy maybe one or two titles a year but rent 50?

I'll be pre-ordering the new system. I'll still have my 360 hooked up becsause i'm sure most of the guys on my XBL friend list won't all get getting the new console at launch.

The new systems will be out in time for the holiday season, that's my guess anyhow. Just because they're announcing in may doesn't mean it's still all a concept. I'm sure when E3 hits in June we'll have a whole list of titles for the Next Gens.

My biggest concern is will I have to make a different Gamertag and deal with all that BS. Also i hope that the # of friends is bumped up to more than 100.

I don't think Trion made a mistake putting out Defiance now. Who knows they could have a "next gen" version in the works for next spring...no one really knows.

If you ask me the gaming industry is stagnant because the XBOX is so old and its had a knock on effect to the PC world too, games on the PC could be far better then what they are, but they're held back by the portability of the xbox's graphics limitations.

agree with you but still think they have stagnated due to lack of ideas as well re hashed games COD and BF series both being bad for it.

Glad somebody else sees it my way. I've been "loyal" to CoD up until this BO2. Then realized it's just the same **** with a different skin. Always. And it's not the game that annoys me, it's how everybody plays. It's less about skill and more about game manipulation. Not just mods and hacks, but advantages to certain maps and weapons. Which is why I'm so happy this game came out. I've already beaten Borderlands 2, Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim as much as I can bear to.

I laughed at the stupidity of the dev's for adding the 'respawn fare' and the nuke killstreak.... like "no-one will abuse that"

CODBO was last cod title I bought tried making people see the graphics are from engine older then most people playing. all they seem to do is change colours, map visuals (sand box anyone), what players character looks like and sound effects.
I feel sorry for those who honestly see it as a new game.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was my favorite. Didn't care much for WaW, loved the campaign though. But after that it was all downhill.

WAW was fav until entered game with some randoms with cheats on and it boosted my xp through roof after that, no point felt dirty for it and peed as could not unlock anything.

As soon as any new CoD comes out, the hacks take over the previous title. I remember going to MW2 after BO came out, and the game was loaded with people who could fly and shoot rockets out of their pistol...
