if as suggested the next gen is not back comp I think xbox are missing big market. one of the few reasons I bought xbox 360 over PS3 was because the I could play my old games. I still have ps2 and all my games lol

I don't see how a new console wouldn't be backwards compatible. They're not gonna get people to buy a new copy of a game they already have to play it. I don't see Bethesda rewriting Skyrim for a new console. Or now Defiance, Borderlands 2, Mass Effect 3, heck, even CoD BO2. These are games that keep people playing on their XBOX and buying XBOX Live. It would not make any sense at all to have a new console that wasn't backwards compatible, unless they hand out free copies of games that you already have for the 360 via trade in.

    wait and see.
PS3 did it and its still going. althought most of games listed are old and the next in series should or will be comming out this or next year.
they will still support the xbox 360 for year or 2 but after that those games will be dead and gone.

(please do not class ME3 as a game its a beer mat nothing else)

I loved ME3, and the Mass Effect series as a whole. Wonderful gaming experience. (And yes, I liked the ending)

no offence the ending sucked and was so rushed damn you EA.
half the ideas, events and desicions made were not reflected or thought about by them.
some of the charcters I killed came back from dead, or moved places around galaxy.

yeah hear that, I own BO2 but I've never been online with it.... I was so sick of the of the last 3 games rewarding noodness that I have zero interest in the noobfest. If anyone's wondering why I got it.... I got it for the zombies and even that's a joke now "where's my flopper?? you animals!!"

As to not get terribly off topic, and because I have to go to bed I won't get too far into this argument. I can understand why people didn't like the ending. For lack of better terms, the resolution was not "spoon fed" to the gamer. It was a philosophical ended that I enjoyed very much. I played through each game multiple times, and for my play through on ME3 I had no characters that were killed, so I never noticed that. In terms of the decisions effecting the game, it'd be way too much code to create a totally different experience for each possible decision to make a major effect. Taking out that aspect, I fully appreciate what the game was. If it weren't for such high expectations, it was a well designed and scripted game with a thinking mans ending.

But I do agree that without EA, it would have been far, far better.
