I don't think it was a mistake not to wait for the next consoles to be released. It comes down to a matter of fan base, and that the new consoles would not have a large enough audience to make putting the game on it alone, worth while. I would love to see this game on Wii U, but the reason it is not, is because currently only 3.5million own the console, therefore, if only 20k people buy that game on that system, is it enough to keep a community in game?.

Now the interesting thing about the 720, is that being another XB, its possible to allow it to connect with the current version on 360. Regardless of whether or not its backwards compatible, they could go and make a 720 version, up the textures and FPS to that of the PC one, and then just allow it to connect to the 360 servers. This would give a population to an already existing user base, on the newer console. Same with they could make a Wii U version and just allow it to connect to either the XB servers or PS3 servers, but they wont. -.-
