Also one dev mentioned how players doing co-op mission can see players engaged in a PVP fight and are able to jump right in from their co-op experience. I hope it doesnt work the other way around because it would be quite frustrating having random players kill or harass you when you're focused on completing a co-op mission. Or is that how it is in MMOs in general? Im a bit new to the genre.
You won't have to worry about that, they PvPers can only bother you if you decide to engage in the Shadow War, if you don't want to, then they can't kill or harass you. To my knowledge its a capture point objective based game, capture key points to gain points for your team to win. The cool part is that you could start a match with 14 people and have three areas to capture closer together, they switch, points randomly are generated. But say 20 people join... now the match will generate 3 more points and spread them out making the 'map' larger to compensate for the number of people in the match. Really great idea throwing it in the 'overworld' too. I'm pumped for this, but I hope this cleard some things up for you!

The show reminds me a bit of new aged Firefly, which is awesome! Firefly had that western frontier vibe to it as well. Its a good thing in my opinion.
