The race is in mount tam, not sure of vendor... and guess what it sufffers from the usual F*********************** bugs... time added on from nowhere and now people can't even activate the first gate. seriously I <3 this game but for F*** sake release something that works!!!!!!

Yeah, the issue is that the servers cannot handle the player capacity. This event would be best completed during off-peak hours except that the event only runs over the weekend. It's a horrible promotion given the current server issues for time trials and this is coming from someone who unlocked the Black Challenger already.Originally Posted by Unknown

Yea I'm not sure where the vendor is too. I check the Paradise by the harbor but that one isn't it.

I am so logging on after work and doing this. Been looking for the White challenger for weeks - jumping from vendor to vendor in hopes of catching it. White is the only color I do not have to complete my set of Challengers = Red, Orange, Purple, Silver & Black.
That's nice and all. But I've just far too many instances spawning/gates not appearing to complete this race on time; and if I do, I get docked another few seconds for no reason.

I some how managed to get gold ...just... literally on the qualifying time even though I had to reverse over the first marker. If you encounter the bug where the gate doesn't activate I recommend driving over the first gate slow, just touching it, quickly reversing then boosting off... It wastes about 7 seconds to activate it but gets the job done

I got gold but the regular Paradise vendor has nothing.
Yeah...would have loved a hint as to what vendor will have it...or something...
