Dodge High Speed Challenge?

GM Fasti: I am afraid I am unable to grant this item, or this vendor to anyone. The vendor will be available when unlocked. I believe there is just some confusion about unlocking it and I will have our team reach out to get clarification for the community.
Me: There's really no confusion, unless they left out something from the blog/in-game items. It says, complete the paradise contract to gain access to the items, we have completed the contract, the items are not in the paradise vendor as stated. It must just be yet another bug.

Trying to get real blunt with them here.

Me: So, I just completed the Dodge High Speed Challenge. Once that has been completed, (Gold Medal) You are supposed to go to a vendor to purchase your Dodge Challenger with the points you got from the Challenge. Where is this vendor?
Me: It is not the normal, "Paradise" Vendor as is stated in the instructions.
GM Fasti: Can you link me those instructions?

Me: Hmm. Nobody seems to know where the merchant is. Everyone is asking on the forums, in-game, and on the blog post. But no response yet.
GM Fasti: I am looking at it now, but it does not mention earning gold to unlock the vendor.
Me: The in-game Paradise daily contract has the requirement of getting a Gold medal in the Dodge Challenge Weekend time trial.
GM Fasti: It says you have to complete the contract to earn rep with the Paradise Faction, eventually unlocking access.
Me: I have over 200 rep. More than the most expensive items in the shot for top tier Ark Hunters. If even I don't have access, then I doubt anyone could obtain access within 2 days time.
GM Fasti: I am afraid I do not have more details on unlocking the item, but it is Friday, so I imagine you have more time to earn this item.
Me: I have already earned it. I have completed all of the requirements, as have many others.

Not even the GMs know what I'm talking about. XD

I expect that you will have to do multiple pursuits to get tokens like all things and then the vendor will pop sometime down the line.
Since the event is not just a one shot and will happen at various times it does lead to getting multiple tokens.

Not happy if a time trial otem like a vehicle would require other things like a co op or even a pvp event down the line.

You should say to them, you mean the official forum where Trion is to afraid to post replies

I expect that you will have to do multiple pursuits to get tokens like all things and then the vendor will pop sometime down the line.
Since the event is not just a one shot and will happen at various times it does lead to getting multiple tokens.

It might not be simple. For all we know, the cost could be like 300 tokens a car plus 50k scrip.

Great point, and something I'd be happier with. I have to admit that I got kind of ill upon hearing what seems like a handout for the rare Challengers. I enjoy being in the small but growing group of people with rare things.

I already have a white Challenger, but I wouldn't mind if others got one too.

Vendor will be 'unlocked' tommarow when the contracts Complete / Reset is my guess.

I don't mind either, but I would when it hits the point of everyone using them. That's why you'll never see me in a black or orange one. I just always try to be different.
