Paradise Vendor Dodge Challenge

I'm not sure what you read, but in the community blog it mentions three or four times that the cars are available at a vendor once you have qualified by completing the Paradise contract.

when i turn my game on it says hellbug week and dodge event says complete paradise contract for limited colors. didn't see anything about vendor or even "go to this website for more details"

what i meant by Trion taking two steps back is that they would post an event that requirse going to a vendor that wont exist until after the event specific contract has expired. theres other things but i'll leave it at that

Yes and no. See, it is a bit inept of them to announce a challenge midday and unlock it to all without the vendor even being in the game yet. That is the only real mistake made.

You could complete the challenge the moment it was released (I was notified in-game at 3 PM EST). You just won't be able to claim your reward until after 7 AM PST tomorrow. So if anyone is going to complain about not being able to complete a challenge which is available to them... should probably just not bother playing.

So how are people getting around the issue where the timer adds seconds after you finish? I had a perfect run and would have had gold but the timer decides to add seconds and put me down to silver, this has happened with a few different time trials so far. Why isn't Trion addressing this issue?

I did not have that issue luckily but I did run into roadblocks after a certain jump and that was beyond aggravating. Trion needs to remove all instances from occurring as well as removing ones that are up and in a direct path of any time trial once a player enters it.

I saw a level 70 something attempting the challenge and he ran into a hellbug instance more than once and not having a good shield and running into warriors downed him. Luckily a few other players and myself cleared up that path but still... by now this issue should be resolved.

Had the same issue with the timer, but if you exit the vehicle and reset it, the added time changes. Was able to get it to only 5 seconds added and still get gold....after 1000 failed attempts. However, when I completed the Explosions 101 instance, the contract was never marked off. Submitted a ticket, but has anyone else experienced that issue with the contract not checking off?

There is a sneaky (not really... more like clever and I found out by accident) way to actually complete the race without even driving...

If you are in a group you can access the passenger side of the Challenger and he can drive you and as he passes through the gates, they count for you as well. Found it when I spawned outside of the car on my millionth attempt. He happened to be at the start when I was and I accidentally got in his car.

Not to high jack this topic but anybody know if the vendor is in now? I assumed with that down time it woulda been added but I see no new vendors and no Vehicle at the Paradise territory vendor..

The vendor will be added in during a patch at 7 AM PST (west coast NA time). The downtime is listed at 30 minutes. There is no word on where the vendor will be placed.

Umm yeah I read all that, the server just went down an hour ago? And came back up with nothing? It will be 7AM PST in like...5 minutes won't it? Lol.
