Umm yeah I read all that, the server just went down an hour ago? And came back up with nothing? It will be 7AM PST in like...5 minutes won't it? Lol.

No. At the time of me typing this it is 5:58 AM for me and I am on EST time (East Coast NA). So in PST it is 2:58 AM.

Time zones... kind of important to know when it comes to these types of things and playing online games if you have friends in different time zones and/or countries.

Yes and no. See, it is a bit inept of them to announce a challenge midday and unlock it to all without the vendor even being in the game yet. That is the only real mistake made.

You could complete the challenge the moment it was released (I was notified in-game at 3 PM EST). You just won't be able to claim your reward until after 7 AM PST tomorrow. So if anyone is going to complain about not being able to complete a challenge which is available to them... should probably just not bother playing.

i completed the challenge. yes the nonexist vendor is a mistake. issue nuber two is in the ingame details of the challenge/event. i had spoken with a mass of people ingame and no one knew about a vendor. we all thought it was just another glitch that we didn't get anything. afterall Defiance has become pretty infamous for things not working. it wasn't untill i got on the forums thati learned of the vendor but its to be expected from Trion's history of advertising. it wasn't until the show air that Defiance started geting some real ads going.

Was on Twitter and on the game site. Full description even before saying the vendor would be added 24 hours later. I find it rather amusing that out of the mass of people you spoke with who are playing an online game using an Internet connection had no way of knowing these details.

I don't quite understand why this bothers you. I got the contract done and now I just wait for the update. Not really a big deal to wait a couple hours.

its not really bothering me, I just don't understand why they didn't patch both together, surely that makes sense, I finished the race last night, its been about 14 hours, but yeh its no big deal, its patched now any ways..time too log back on
