Sheesh. I haven't run into any of these problems (first race at midnight, second at 9:30 AM EU servers) but Trion really need to fix these.
That gave me a large window for beating bugs. For the additional time bug, it should still be manageable. Just consider it to be your platinum medal.

I did it in three runs. First one was a bit meh since I didn't know the track. Normally I have quite a hard time learning the track in other race games, I think because of all the details my mind can better remember in this game.
The second time I thought I was pretty much perfect, didn't hit anything, didn't need to turn around, only stopped boosting a few times for very tight bends in the road. 3:50. I thought I would never be able to beat my own time like this. But at the end of that second try I got rollers L10.
The third time went really well, although I got to a dead stop from falling. And there were a couple of events, including a full road block, I had to drive vertically agains the wall on the side of the road dukes-of-hazard style. And I finished with gold :-)
I think that rollers L10 helped a lot with this. I also hit the boost button right after each ring perfectly in that last run.
I Love this game. I LOVE this game but . . .
All of the small "lack of polish" things are starting to really irritate me. WHY does time get added to time trials? At all? Does it even make sense? I am guessing the timer starts when you first select the trial via its gold icon. Why wouldn't the timer start on, oh I don't know, race start?
Why do all of the pursuit items reset? Arkfall kills if you do scrappers, powerslide on runners/rollers, just about ALL PvP pursuits, no damage registered in co-op/arkfalls if you use cluster grenades, electric archers only registering about 40% of the time. These are some of the minor things I thought of off the top of my head that are peeves of mine in this game. I am not even mentioning bigger issues, ie hacks/exploits & limiting rpg-like progression in favor of PvP play then only releasing game with 3 PvP maps one of which has been seen less than Bigfoot.
It has been a month and I am amazed at how they have time to add yet another buggy item to the game that will only burn reputation currency, ugh, for a different skin on the same car. Shouldn't they be, I don't know, fixing these things!

On to my experience for the time trial:
First try - time added at end so I wound up with 4:01
2nd & 3rd - emergency in road slowed me further and I spawned outside of car so I had to get in
Abandon then restart so I didn't have to keep getting in car
4th & last try - gates didn't render although I could see them on minimap and if I ran through them they would count - abandoned twice after missing gate at turn - BECAUSE I COULDN'T SEE IT! - then went to arkfall before kicking my dog, jk.
btw - I don't have a dog
Once again I apologize for for my attitude in this post. I am at heart a patient man but everyone has a breaking point, and I am, unfortunately, rapidly reaching mine.
Has anyone mentioned the fact that you often don't spawn until several seconds into the race or that the gate detection is so bad that you will often drive right through them without it registering? Or the astonishingly bad pop in? On one attempt, I got spun 180 degrees by clipping an obstacle in the middle of the road that wasn't there, and on another, I got flipped onto my side because I drove around an obstacle that was there and hit one that wasn't. Seriously, how did this garbage make it out of testing?
At least the Dodges are so awful that I don't mind foregoing the opportunity to get another one.
Many they REALLY shouldn't have thrown this into the game.
Especially with all the unrest continuing to grow.
It seems like for PR they're almost now just trying to throw in whatever they can rush in.
Its like they've already taken a concussion......but now they're slamming their head into a wall as well (can't think of a better analogy ATM).
You'd think if they were to add least do some kind of race thing.......do it with a vehicle people more people don't hate.
The challenger just doesn't have the handling in this game to do a race without people getting really worked up about not being able to handle it well.

In hope Dodge never plays Defiance. Drives like crap. Sounds like crap.
The race on their special weekend is hard enough because you have to drive it, but even the race itself is horribly bugged.
I like the game overall and I hope they can eventually get the issues worked out, but please...trion...never eeeeeeerver think about making a driving game.

Third attempt. 99'er roadblock pops up so I hit the side of the cliff to the right of it and it flings me into the next ring. Jump off of a hill and miss a ring, hand break, go back to ring, hand break, keep going. Finished a 3:45 did not add seconds to my time. Was a fun race.
