New main mission?

Hi all!

Please forgive me if I have not seen an answer posted previously :-)

I have finished the main mission and become a Hero of Paradise and am wondering if there will be a further main mission to come in future updates?

Awesome game and the final battle with Nim took me a hell of a while to complete, so it would be great news to find out if I can look forward to a new 'master' task :-)

Just speculating, but probably whenever they release the next DLC. Its best not to assume anything with respect to defiance though. Many assumed there would be new mission sequences with show episodes. That hasn't turned out to be the case.

What Dazz said. There will be new missions "main ones' we just don't know when. Sooner rather than later I hope.

When the tv series finishes its first season is the most logical,
Because then it allows them to progress the story further in the game world,

Patience etc.

Remember they are set in the same world, so what happens in the game needs to be applicable to the TV show's world also,

Im sure they have writers who have done it cleverly though

But yeah undoubtedly there will be more missions, hence the whole "season pass"
Which means you will get DLC for the first year for free.. which in turn means that DLC is planned and being developed already

If you notice all the pursuits are under the submenu SEASON 1.
This suggests they will have multiple seasons each with their own pursuits/contracts etc.
However the timeframe of this DLC is unknown at this time.

Since the game and show somewhat run side by side when season two of the show comes out the game will move into season two so on and so fourth lol

I don't get the logic of your beginning post. The current main mission in Defiance had no connection whatsoever with the events of the show. They can easily continue with a new storyline that leads into the grayed areas around the map we have now, regardless of what the show does in a season 1 or 2.

While I believe it will come in the DLCs, I can't imagine where what season the show is on has a bearing. Syfy made it clear in late 2012 that while there might be more of a connection with the game if the show gets a Season 2 (i.e. better weekly transmedia within the game), the show and the game are being kept separate as far as core stories. This is to prevent both from going down if one side of the franchise fails.

So the fact the shows main characters were in it... and they steal the crystal the use in the ship at the start of the show from you.... has nothing to do with it atall?
