If you want PC-level performance tho, you might get the shafted in the process, but it should still run better than PS3 depending on rest of the computer?
Well, I may have been a bit dramatic in my original post, but I honestly think the experience would be better on PS3. On an HD 3000, there is a good chance the frame rate would drop significantly in a lot of situations, especially arkfalls. On PS3 it would play smooth, the way it was meant to be played.
just to be clear.. the gpu in the ps3, the "RSX reality synth" is from nvidia, and in terms of processing potential is higher than DUAL geforce 6800's.. while the integrated hd 3000 rates less than a single geforce 6600 (which is leaps and bounds better in performance than the ati 9550.. which is supposed to be the equivilant to NVIDIA's card.).
simply put.. ps3 GPU>HD 3000
also... slightly off topic.. the gpu of the ps3 is greater, by as much as 3 times, than that in the xbox360 in terms of capability, If you wanted to compare consoles as well.

I run the game on my Medion P8610 on low settings and it runs well. I do also have it on my Xbox 360, but prefer my laptop
