I'm on my 4th playthrough now and tried different tactics each time, the last time was the easiest using a sawed off shotgun and grenade launcher.

Shoot him in the face with high powered shotgun in phase 1, only took about 4 good shots.

Used grenade launcher to thin out the many nims in phase 2. Then shotgun to face when only a couple.

Shotgun again for phase 3, especially when he's done his jump attack and then just sits there.

What on earth are you talking about - 'untill the nerf. now he is so easy'? Nim wasn't even touched by a patch so far from my understanding? Surely the patch notes would've stated this other wise.

I do wonder if most of the people moaning about Nim are quite young and use to the easy games of this generation, this is not meant to be an insult to anyone, but I find it hard to imagine any one who was playing console games during the late 80's early 90's could consider Nim a hard boss.

If i'm not mistaken, I remember you playing section 8. We weren't in the same clan but, I just remember you.

Semi-auto shotgun with incendiary nano, a BMG and decoy. Took a few tries but this is the combo that worked. I also made the mistake of using a shield that took 9.6 to recharge. Now I have one that's a lot weaker but only takes 2.85 to recharge 40%. Make sure you have a fast recharge shield and use a special power that will take the pressure off of you like shadow or decoy. A DOT weapon is also a must. I used an infector during the second phase.

!st playthrough (when i was still new to the game and such) SMG to kill Nim and BMG to heal myself.
2nd playthrough i just used a BMG.
Heh i didnt die my 1st time, but on my 2nd play when i was much more familiar with Nim..............i died once. ^_^
