It makes a pleasant change watching a video were the commentator actually talks about the game in question, rather then give the viewers an insight to what he was doing last week or explaining his nan's bowel movements in great detail.

For highest damage in a single shot? I'm thinking a headshot from a bolt action sniper rifle. Great for picking off humanoid snipers and rocket launchers from far away since you can one or two shot them.

For hellbug arkfalls sniper rifles suffer because a crystal or boss can easily survive a single shot, things are moving all over and you can close the distance with targets to use the pistol.

Sniper rifles may be worth it on scapper arkfalls to save time running from one arm to the next. Shoot one down, aim across the map at the next. That's a possibility. (haven't tested that yet )

I use mine to do just that, and then shoot up into the boss during repair.
Big single damage several times.

Only drawback:
50 rounds.

I can carry 65, if I plug in a fresh mag and then hit the ammo locker. Don't stow the weapon after you hit the ammo locker, or you'll lose the extra rounds.

Hello folks. I'm using a bit different build for arkfalls and i can do up to 2m damage.
I use 2 SAW's (yes, i know they share the ammo lol)
I prefer to have siphon on at least one saw, and may be fire on the second.
My build for arkfalls is:
Overcharge (maxed of course)
Insult to Injury (maxed)
Fortitude (maxed)
Preparedness (maxed)
Killing Machine (maxed)
Killing Spree (maxed)
Gunslinger (maxed)
Blast Shield or Quick Charge (maxed both)

Now the interesting part.
If you go to arkfall and there is a more than 4 people around,
go to another because is overcrowded already.
Shoot the Archers and the spitting towers, they are priority.
You will ask why, because they slow movement speed and the goo reduces the damage you deal like 40-50%.
With preparedness you will have your stowed weapon filled with ammo, just change your saw with other one and continue shooting. This helps me to bring my damage like 2 times.
