how the hell do get orange weapons

I think you have to get them in the lock boxes. they drop random

Lock boxes. Don't buy tier 4. I bought so many then went to tier 2 after my 4th one I got an orage and like 6 later got another orange. Not sure if they drop, never got one as a drop.

As it stands right now, the only way i've heard of to get orange weapons (And the only way i've recieved any of my several) is through the lockboxes located next to most of the vendors. They take keycodes that you get from Arkfalls and Co-op, as well as competitive (I think) and I may have been on drugs but certain locations like Kenn Farms or Mine 99 situations may occasionally give a couple. It used to be that emergencies gave them but it was patched out. Still not that hard to save them up, good luck on your boxes! (It's not at all a gaurantee that you'l get any item of value whatsoever)

Edit: I always get Tier 4 because i've personally never gotten an orange out of anything lower, and i've got to be doing something right to have two launchers, two pistols, a shotgun, an SMG and a detonator so far so i'll just stick with my 'spensive tier 4 boxes. xD

I probably got close to 30 tier 4s, even bought some with bits (never again) and never got one, I'm sticking to tier 2 or maybe move up to tier 3.

I've only gotten them from tier 4 boxes. I used to buy only tier 2 boxes once I realized it was the better deal (tier 4 is roughly 3Xs the price of tier 2 with only 2Xs the reward (using resources)), but I got two orange items from a tier 4, so now I only get tier 4. But, honestly, until the loot system is fixed, aiming for orange items is somewhat of a waste seeing as pretty much all gear is the same, no matter the rarity. Example: I was using a green shield I got around rank 700, got an orange shield from a lockbox at around rank 900 and all stats were worse than the green shield I had equipped.

I seem to get a lot of orange weapons @ bug n' chug, give it a try.

The way I see it, its like the lotto, even though all areas offer lotto only some places are recognized for putting out more winning tickets than others.

man f all this orange & tier 2,3,4 bullcr*p..i'm sittn at ego 2500 w/ only 3 stupid oranges in my book...this is f'n ridiculous!

I've gotten mine from tier 3 and 4 boxes currently at 10 orange gear
