    Getting mad

Yes I realize Defiance is an open world game, but I am used to playing alone and some of the missions I play I feel like there are for people in groups. my anti-social-ness seeps into me while playing the game,, I am actually surprised that I made it into the game this far, I am pass the San Fran bridge and trying to find some LT, Without breaking the controller or gave up on the game. whats your veiw on that? And... does anyone wish they could change their characters facial features? while I was making my character my dad was behind me and I felt pressured to get it done...

All the story missions and side missions is single player countent with the option on some to use friends.

Alot of other people have completed the quest part of the game without any trouble what so ever. Theres several guides out there that can help you get to were you want.

And many of us surley want to change the character apperances, im also one of them ;-)

If you're having trouble completing a given mission, you have a number of options available depending on the situation:

    1. Try a different approach to the location; sneak around the snipers instead of waltzing right up with a bulls-eye painted on your face.
    2. Take out huge packs of enemies by running them over; sure, you don't get loot/exp, but would you rather get overwhelmed on foot and have to drive all the way back from an extraction point?
    3. Set up your loadouts to use different guns/grenades/perks. You have multiple loadouts for a reason!

There's not a single mission in the game so far that *requires* a group. If you're having a really hard time with one, you're either doing something wrong or you just plain need to get better.

Thank you, I guess i"m still not that good at playing the game yet, hahah. but I probably get frustrated so much it makes me play like a dork. And doesn't anyone get furious when they keep shooting at you when you are down? that makes me want to throw the controller at their faces! lol.

The game is pretty easy, in my opinion - and that's coming from somone who doesn't usually play FPS. In fact, I'd say that most missions/events are intended for a single person, and playing in group makes about everything piece of cake - co-op maps are a rush rather then challenge, Arkfalls are massacres - and humans aren't the ones getting masacred, to name a couple. Some missions do encourage having a partner, but I haven't seen a one that wouldn't be perfectly do-able on one's own.

I do wish we were able to adjust our features, though, and really hope Trion would add this option on a later date.

I solo-ed everything. Every story mission, every side mission.

Co-op maps or team deathmatch maps with randoms are fine too, because you're all shooting for the same goal of just doing it. If you don't like your group, you back out and start it again, and different randoms.

I'm extremely anti-social, but the reason I keep going back to Defiance, is you can just ignore everyone and do you own thing. There is no requirement to deal with anyone.

EDIT: I am pretty good at this type of inventive FPS though... If I could, I would turn the difficulty level up on this game. I mean, when you die, you only loose some Scrip... which becomes meaningless anyways once you're far enough into the game.

Maybe join a clan, and ask your clan members to help? I do requests for help in my clan. =0)

I played the storyline alone and felt the same way. I would've liked if I was able to join temp parties with players that were doing the same missions as I was. After beating the story, I eventually found some players after doing random shooting/platforming at the venders having a few people join in. We ended up doing side missions and looking for those data recorders :D

I would also like the ability to change my characters. I would also like to see more hair options/colors :3
