Most broken game ever!!!

I remember the first console I ever owned as a kid: the Sears Console later renamed the Atari 2600. The games from it were as to be expected. Some were great and others were duds. It was the joysticks and paddles breaking all the time that were the worst with that system(I ended up learning how to cannibalized multiple sets of em to create working ones that lasted even into the late 90's.)

Is Defiance the worst ever? Hardly. Does it have issues that are severely hurting it? Absolutely, in my opinion. People want to pick on the OP for swinging the pendulum in the exaggeration direction but all in all he's saying the game has problems and he dislikes it, which is something not a small number of people have the same sentiment of.

You sir, have never experienced Broken(tm). Then it's unplayable, even unloadable. Defiance: Some odd bugs, a few server crashes. That was it. No catastrophe.

I've had **** loads of audio problems on PS3 on top of everything else. Some sound will happen and then all the audio in the game with be a shrill buzzing. This has happened in team deathmatch, co op mission, and normal gameplay. I usually have to reset my PS3. And you know what... I just don't have the will to submit a ticket everytime. I don't have a keyboard hooked up to my PS3 and there's only so many times I can spend 15mins controller typing whats wrong with their game to them.

This is easily the most frustrating video game experience of my 30+ years of gaming. Defiance is terribly broken. Since its launch, I have experienced countless audio problems, mic sync issues, lag, frame drop, connectivity issues, and console crashing. I have worked with Trion Worlds' technical support and have spent countless hours trying to fix this game, but it is simply unplayable. Defiance is simply a broken game by Trion's own admission. Their advice to me was to use a different PSN profile to play the game, buy a new console, and completely reconfigure my modem/router. Ridiculous and insulting! Please know that I own over 275 disc and dlc PS3 games and I have never encountered anything like this. And please believe that in the sporadic moments when the game actually did manage to work a little, it's an atrocity. Boring, repetitive, mundane, generic crap! Literally, this has been the worst gaming experience of my life. Period.

I'm on PS3 and have had few problems with Defiance. Dead Island is the buggiest game I ever played in my 30+ gaming years. I seriously doubt they told you to buy a new console...

6Strummer is right on the money...try playing dead island riptide on PS3 it is a bad joke. I just started playing Defiance 4 days ago on PS3 and can't stop playing. To each their own

Really, going out of your way to throw a little, public tantrum? Also... lag and connection issues? That almost no one else is experiencing? Sounds like an issue on your end.

Someone who's been gaming for thirty years and they missed the start of WoW? It was horrific.
