That is beside the point. Adding something new to a rep vendor is fine. Taking a vendor item, claiming it is something special and attaching a rep requirement it petty and shows a gross lack of ideas or imagination from Trion. It's an easy, couldn't be arsed move and shows a little disrespect to the player base.
Well, the 3 challengers are rare in the special vendor's offers.
So, may be they are not pumped up but they are "special" in some way.
And free is only the cheese in the trap.
Yeah, I got the orange one from one, got other vehicles for 500 as well. It pays to keep checking vendors for specials AND to pay attention to the map. There are special vendors that show up and then disappear.
The way I figure it the challenge was about the rep. I needed it to be accepted by Paradise. Then, it's a want fulfilled if I get a car. I can earn the other stuff back again, scrip and rep, no problem. I don't see the challenge as a bad thing and I don't think paying for the car is either. I can say that after some real frustrations with the challenge. It actually made beating it feel like I'd accomplished something.
Modified stats I truly believe are there. Can not see them due to it just being yet another glitch/bug with the game. There are more bugs WITH this game then there are hellbugs IN the game.
Reason I think stats are modified and not showing is when I drive the white Challenger it seems heck of a lot faster then when I drive the red pre-order one.
I hate to be that guy.....but I'm gonna be that guy.![]()
That's why I don't spend my rep.
Dear Optimist, Pessimist and Realist,
While you guys were busy
arguing about the glass of water,
I drank it!
