I don't play console shooters for a number of reasons. One is that boss fights are always ******ed. Second is that boss fights against invulnerable bosses are even ******ederer. It's just so... old.
Third is that boss fights against invulnerable bosses with a stupid and game-breaking weakness that give you a five-second window to do a tiny bit of damage to the boss are just plain lame. Game-breaking lame. Make-me-not-want-to-log-in-again lame.
"There's another smelter! Target it's fuel pack!" -- with about a 1:10 chance of actually hitting the guy without killing him. Seriously? Really, I mean seriouslly? Most of the game is pretty well-written, but this kind of thing is just a lame dodge to make a game seem challenging while making it not at all fun.
Glad I decided not to upgrade. After spending an hour trying to kill Jackleg... there is a *possibility* I might log in again. Maybe.
