So I have my favorite shotgun again...finally. I want to buy the mods for it but everything is a level 1. For example it'll say "Power Choke I" but Ive seen mods that are level II, and III. How do I find those? or are they EGO level based? I'd like a MAG III mod. can I do/find/buy that somewhere at EGO 278?

Ok, but does my EGO level affect it at all? like can I still get the III at a low EGO lv? And arent the mod caches random...
Do lots of co-op runs, get the keycode shards, then get the mod boxes at the vendor. They have higher level mods than the ones you can buy at the mod shacks in Iron Demon and the truckstop. Use the low level ones on gear you are using to level up skill points. Keep synergy ones for when you get high enough to get synergy weps.
Ego level does not effect mods. You can find and use any mods at any ego lvl.
Keep checking the vendor machines that offer specials, the specials can be level 2 and 3 mods.
I want to know if u can use more than one synergy mod & if so, does the stats work for both and if u can stack the same benefits for extra stats. Also do u have to use the same type of synergy on same weapon or can u get the benefits for all if u used two different synergy sets.
Is there any reliable source of lvl 2-3 mods though?

Mod caches have synergy ones, but what of regular ones? Or can you just use the synergy ones even if they dont match or whatever?
there is no vendor where you can pick and choose tier 2 and 3 mods, howeveri know at least for sniper rifles there are 2 hot shots that give you a random sniper rifle mods, bolinas sniper , and sharp shooting savior. Dam defense when it was in gave rocket launcher mods. and resivoir chickens gives pistol mods. cant remember if there is one that only gives shotty mods though. just run those for their specific mod type till you get the mods you like.
Mods are easy to get. Play missions or buy synergy sets on the little oval supply case. But enough about that. Does anybode know anything about synergy mods and if u can get all the effects from using two on same weapon? Because when u go to mod. It doesn't show that the effects are being doubled if u use two of same synergy mod. And using two different mods doesn't show the second synergy boostsOriginally Posted by GENERALPORKCHOP
