The thing that baffles me is why so many games (portions of DCUO, the end of every mission chain in The Secret World, and the mission chain endings in Defiance, to name a couple) take an MMO experience into a Solo Instance!

****ing seriously? The Secret World lost me and the wife for that very reason, as we liked to play all the content as a duo. Had no interest in solo instances to continue the storyline.

I pretty much treat this game as a single player game, but why they did that makes no damn sense to me either.

No. If they add Freightyard they'll require Freightyard. And then it won't clear when you win or lose.

Nah. Pretty sure once freightyard is in the game for good, there will never be another contract or pursuit that involves freightyard again. oh, every time you get a kill on freightyard it will reset your arkfall kill count and make whatever weapon you are holding at the moment disappear.
