why people only want this game to be a pvp game

everyone does not want to be a pvp game, i for one and many of my friends despise the pvp in this game so they definately do not want it to be a full pvp game.
i would never play the game again if it ever did go full pvp

its just i see so many people asking for more pvp content, that can change a games direction, thats why i made this post, cuz if devs feel that it would be better off as a " pvp " game due to the constant whining about more pvp content ( open world pvp ) then theyll start focusing on the pvp aspects of this game, then those who dont play pvp or wont will feel short changed, its just my honest opinion thats all

i feel when it comes to this type of game ( mmo ) you wont be able to cater to everyone be they avid pvp'ers or players that love to just wander around pve...adn the fact that this is a shooter, well that goes w/o saying

Exactly! I really don't know how someone can profess to know what EVERYONE is thinking/saying about any particular aspect of this game or anything else for that matter. Seems like a ragers train of thought to think like that, you know... the "ALL men are liars" syndrome.

PvP makes up about 10-20% of this game 'for me' so I'm hardly a PvP fanatic and if you could see my PvP stats you'd see I'm pretty average at it too and I seem to be able to enjoy it win or lose

That's the thing about MMO's. It's not about the "Loot" or the "Gear" or the "Skill" or the "Encounters" or the "PvP" or the "Endgame". It's whatever we can find to talk about that makes us keep playing. It's the social interaction. Something producers rarely understood because they can't measure it and they've been trying to throw all kinds of amazing junk and shinies our way to buy their stuff. But we just want something to talk and argue with strangers about to make friends!

For this game, there's not much to talk about besides Shadow War. For me atleast. PvE, there's just nothing to talk with strangers about. You blow it all up. Not even any arguments about CC or raging about stealing drops. So there's PvP left. I have a shotgun... and not just any shotgun.. I have a VBI COURIER.

im just hoping they fix the chat in co ops and stuff, cuz i like to be able to communicate with other players, if they havent got all the recorders or whatever other pursuits that are involved i can ask them vocally instead of having to constantly type the questions in via my keyboard lol so i do agree with ya there

same here, i just go around different threads and see what people are looking for in this game, thats all, and when i see more stuff about pvp than anything else, then i have a right to voice my concern as someone who doesnt get into pvp

I'm here to sign up, I have been pvp'ing quite a bit recently but just to get pursuits done so that I can go back to roaming the world between coops. Although I will que for shadow wars, every so often because I enjoy them.

I really don't die too much in pve so whenever I need feel masochistic and want to get smacked around that is where I go.

I guess I never stated but I'm here 98% for pve

It can't, and it won't be. There are far too many other shooters on the market with superior mechanics, security, and gameplay, ranging from the ****ty arena lobby shooter to fuller-featured traditional co-op TPS/FPS, for this game to have a chance in that arena with such a bleak start.

Additionally, Trion has Warface in beta. Having one title focus on PVP and one title focus on PVE (though each have elements of both) makes a much stronger portfolio of options as a publisher.

I would just be happy with trion if they gave us content to keep us truly busy. Oh and had arkfalls that made sense.
