I was 41xx Ego don't know the exact number. Already uninstalled and don't really care if you believe me or not. I'm sure I would've hit 5k within a week or so if I had cared to continue grinding.

im not gonna uninstall... but i barely play it anymore... after 2000 ego and majority of pursuits done.

The problems and lack of trions care and content etc ... its turned itnto another game you have installed but dont play...

i barely log in once every few days no.

I wanted to like this game. Despite the hundreds upon hundreds of problems I can think of..The nail in the coffin for me was a wager I made with myself. I had 1.7 mill ark resources saved up I decided to spend it all at once just now in attempt to at least get one legendary in my entire playthrough. I bought a mixture of tier 4 and 3 lockboxes tonight and didn't get a single weapon I could even slight give a sh@$ about. Not a single orange. I'm getting close to Ego capped and have never seen an orange. Funny thing is legendaries aren't even that special they just have a slight chance to have nice bonuses on them that don't suck a #!@%.

I'm done. There's absolutely no reward for wasting my time on this game. I can live with lack of content, awful bugs, awful pvp, and the easiest pve I've played in any game (Nim is a flat out joke), the false advertising, the game having literally no solid connection to the show, the lackluster/short story line. However, If I have literally not got a single piece of gear that made me go yay an upgrade in a month then I feel I have wasted my time.

I really hope you guys at Trion don't screw up Archeage as bad as this.

Loot really isn't the main reason I'm quitting. It was really just the final trigger I needed to say screw it.

I don't think I need to tell any of you all the problems this game has. They're quite obvious and glaring.

I've never really talked to anyone in game (despite many attempts) minus the few clan members that are actually still playing. Nothing about this game feels like an MMO. I might as well being playing Borderlands without the humor, the loot, the challenging bosses, or the coop.

Seriously if you want shiny epics to boast about you really shouldn't be playing a SHOOTER!!!

The fact that simply getting around the world in this game has been made fun and easy by having no cooldowns on fast travel like WoW's Hearth Stones and the ability to "go to friend" negating the need for a WoW mage like class just shows that this game is about Gameplay not Gear! It's about Fun not Mindless Spell Rotations!

What I don't get is why come on a forum and bag a game you no longer want to play? Why waste your time and energy? Why not just simply stop playing? Because the truth is you want this game to succeed, you want it to get better, you really do want to play this game... but the problem is it's only been a month and you want it all now! now! now! I honestly don't expect this TV Show and Game to truly find it's mark until at least another 6-12 months and that doesn't bother me because I'm patient and understand that good things take time and get better with age.

But like I said... one less Elitist to worry about

+100 u right m8. they expect too much from the game But this game have allready a lot of things which r not the same as in other mmo shooters.trion need time to solve all problems and at the end all this noobs will return and than they say i was from beginning defiance fan boy.

This post reminded me of something my brother used to do as a kid;
Back when we used to play games on the ol' NES.... if he got frustrated or mad at a game he couldn't beat, he'd take the cartridge out to the garage, grab one of our Dad's hammers....and smash it to bits.
Then a couple weeks later he'd get pissed off he couldn't play the game...and go buy a new one!

6-12 months haha. Most likely the show will be canceled after the first season. If not the second. Sci fi doesn't have a great track record. And the game needs so much work I don't think they'll pull it off before they decide it's time to put it on maintain mode and stop putting out content (new pursuits lolz)

But I'd be happy to be proven wrong,

Yeah. It's a serious problem. Though.. its much less of a problem than say.. the arkfalls in the game not even making sense in the first place. But hey.. who am i to nitpick us shooting at asteroids than looting ships eh?

True.. But I can salvage his stuff and get orange gear, since my lockbox luck is better than his.

So is mine as I have 3 oranges including an orange sniper.
I think that he just is getting his reward for some bad karma.
