I've never gotten an orange either. Starting to think they don't exist.

Starting to think this but every time I get a purple or something I feel like I'm at least getting one step closer.

I wanted to like this game. Despite the hundreds upon hundreds of problems I can think of..The nail in the coffin for me was a wager I made with myself. I had 1.7 mill ark resources saved up I decided to spend it all at once just now in attempt to at least get one legendary in my entire playthrough. I bought a mixture of tier 4 and 3 lockboxes tonight and didn't get a single weapon I could even slight give a sh@$ about. Not a single orange. I'm getting close to Ego capped and have never seen an orange. Funny thing is legendaries aren't even that special they just have a slight chance to have nice bonuses on them that don't suck a #!@%.

I'm done. There's absolutely no reward for wasting my time on this game. I can live with lack of content, awful bugs, awful pvp, and the easiest pve I've played in any game (Nim is a flat out joke), the false advertising, the game having literally no solid connection to the show, the lackluster/short story line. However, If I have literally not got a single piece of gear that made me go yay an upgrade in a month then I feel I have wasted my time.

I really hope you guys at Trion don't screw up Archeage as bad as this.

Loot really isn't the main reason I'm quitting. It was really just the final trigger I needed to say screw it.

I don't think I need to tell any of you all the problems this game has. They're quite obvious and glaring.

I've never really talked to anyone in game (despite many attempts) minus the few clan members that are actually still playing. Nothing about this game feels like an MMO. I might as well being playing Borderlands without the humor, the loot, the challenging bosses, or the coop.

yeah man..feel for ya. although i like the game but those stupid lockboxes killn it..it's frustrating..nothing but a f'n joke! sittn at ego 2500+ n all my gear is piece of crap. everytime i open a fuc*n tier 3 or tier 4 i get sh*t out of it! orange? like wtf..i don't even know what orange looks like! on a game like borderlands my equipment would be the sh*t by now..beast mode style! sh*t..i bet that some1 who started the game for the 1st time like 30 minutes ago has proly better gear equipted than i do!

Uninstalled like a boss? Trion has your money and you are still delivering feedback to them that only helps their game. So ... you maybe "like a boss" but not in the literal sense.

About 10-20% of my Defiance gaming time has been PvP so no, for me it's about the journey not the destination.

Of course it's a journey, one where you retrace your final steps over and over again because you realize there is nowhere important to go.

And thats a sad thing really, if this dude really spent that much salvage when hes high ego.. and didnt get one orange out of the deal. Well, lets say thats making me question the motives of the devs.

Especially when the game constantly has bugs.. hasnt have any episodic content, just kill x of y type stuff... etc.. yeah.. huh...

Not to mention with all the not working pursuits all we get is some pseudo dodge commercial in the form of a time trial that gives you car skins you can get if you simply get lucky at a vendor anyway...

I wish I had kept a running tally of the number of Arkfalls I had grinded to get the keys to purchase the lockboxes. There were a heck of a lot of those boxes purchased with in-game resources.

Let me leave you with this: of all those lockboxes, I received one purple and zero oranges.

This game's lottery system made me feel like Cryptic's wasn't so bad after all.

These threads are ridiculous. I guarantee OP is exaggerating his results. I've only bought a few lock boxes (tier 4) and have 2 orange weapons and TONS of purple. And trust me, I'm not that lucky.

Also, EGO capped? Really? I'm guessing... what... 2k?

As to SyFy's track record; you mean things like Stargate? The longest running sci-fi show... ever? In the history of... ever?

Whatever; I fail to see why you posted here. Why would we care that you don't have an orange weapon? Why would we care that you're uninstalling? Don't let the door hit ya on your way out.

Well I've probably went through around 20 lockboxes by now and haven't received a single orange item guess it's time to quit, huh?
